Following the release of her underrated electro-banger 1954, Michaela May has turned out another synth-blasting pop gem with her new single Lights Out which is out today.
“Lights Out is about a relationship that has lost it’s spark and has gone stale,” explains the Max Martin-mad songstress who has previously worked with the likes of Jimmy Napes and Simon Ellis. “Neither party is getting what they need anymore. But even though times are tough, the song is about not giving up on the relationship.”
