Bright Light Bright Light feat. Elton John – Symmetry of Two Hearts

Elton John is fast becoming a regular credit on Bright Light Bright Light’s single releases. Not only did the legendary singer-songwriter guest on 2014 duet I Wish We Were Leaving, he’s continued to pledge his support for Rod Thomas’ new album campaign by featuring on All In The Name, the lead cut from upcoming collection #3 Chroeography, and again on this new soaring synthpop and sax-boosted follow up anthem Symmetry of Two Hearts.

Despite the credit, Sir Elt does take a back seat, adding a recognisable boost to the already splendid backing vocals which provide a suitably rousing backdrop for the joyous electropop track. It’s Rod who takes centre stage here, and he turns out what is perhaps the finest single of his career to date.
