Moment – Sorry For You

I know very little about this trio, other than that they’re called Moment, they’re from Stockholm and they’re made up of three guys called Rasmus, Joel and Jacob. What I can tell you though is that I received an email from Rasmus sharing the band’s new single Sorry For You which is out on Spotify and iTunes this coming Friday and it’s bloody brilliant.

First and foremost, it’s got a huge pop chorus which sounds immediately like it would work well in a live environment with lots of people singing along. They’d be singing along with their eyes closed too, because it’s an emotional break up song. Plus there are lots of nice synths and melodies and the singer (not sure who takes the lead on vocals) sounds very in to the moment (no pun intended).

Moment have a Facebook page where you can keep up with all of the things that they’re working on, one of which is an EP which will hopefully be out later this summer. It may well feature Sorry for You, and it might feature the only other song on their Soundcloud page –  No Matter Where You Are – which is equally as brilliant. You can listen to both below.
