Smooth, soul house-stylist Klue has delivered another taster from his upcoming debut EP Daybreak which will land on 13 May.
So Good is a mellow dance track, perfect for the end-of-night DJ playlists, that is in part based upon the Sydney-based artist’s own late night partying.
“I think I came up with the idea for the song on the dance floor at a warehouse party, having too good of a time and knowing I had to be at work early the next day. That said, I can think of a number of scenarios it could be applied to, I’m sure everyone knows that feeling.”
The EP promises to draw upon influences of Brazilian samba and the sounds of his trips to Africa, and there are clues in Klue’s playful use of tempo, rhythm and timbre that tap in to his various cultural touch points.
Good news for Aussies too – you can hear them for yourself as Klue is playing a string of live shows around Australia next month. Scroll down for the dates and venues and catch So Good below.
