Shura has announced a hat trick of updates, covering off a new single, a debut album and a forthcoming London live show – that’s once she is done touring on the road with some fellow exciting pop stars.
The London-based electro-chanteuse has revisited Touch, the first track that she recorded and shared, and has since gone on to rack up over 30m plays despite never being officially released.
The rebooted version of the pop star’s acclaimed debut features guest vocalist Talib Kweli and serves as the follow up to her two cosmically brilliant previous singles 2shy and White Light. Both songs are expected to feature on Shura’s upcoming debut album Nothing’s Real, a collection that’s been two years in the making and is due to be released via Polydor later this year.
A string of live 2016 appearances kick off this week where Shura can be caught playing with Marina & The Diamonds, before she embarks on a tour of Europe with CHVRCHES. A headline show at Shepherds Bush Empire in London has been announced for May 26 which will then pave the way for a summer packed with festival appearances, covering Primavera, End of the Road, Parklife and Great Escape.
