Jack Pack have premiered the official music video for their new single Forever and announced their first headline tour of the UK.
The British swing band, who found fame on the 2013 series of Britain’s Got Talent, recently scored a top ten hit with their debut album, and Forever serves as the latest cut from the record to receive its official video treatment.
One of three original songs on the LP, the orchestrally-backed throwback number was written by Randy Newman but it’s the first time that the song has been recorded. The Grammy and Oscar-winning singer-songwriter and composer has given the UK four piece’s sophisticated take on his track a glowing endorsement.
“I really like what Jack Pack did with my song ‘Forever’,” says Newman. “It’s never been recorded before and it’s one of the best recordings I’ve heard of one of my songs.”
“The music video is a celebration of love in all forms, whether it’s between couples or family or friends,” adds Andrew Bourn from the band. “We hope this song connects with everyone who hears it.”
If that’s not enough, Alfie, Andrew, Martin and Sean will head out on their first UK tour next May, having recently played at Proms in the Park and supported Katy Perry at an exclusive gig in Dubai. Tickets go on sale on Friday (20 November), and dates and venues are below.
