Brandyn Burnette releases his debut EP Made of Dreams on 13 November and from it, he’s just premiered the music video for a new version of his electrifying single I Wanna Be Free, featuring rapper Nevelle Viracocha.
Hailing from St. Louis via Florida, Brandyn has spent the past five years writing and releasing music, which has recently culminated in co-scribe credits for tracks by chart-topping US singer Charlie Puth, Hot Chelle Rae and Jake Miller.
“My whole life has been adapting to new situations,” says Burnette who is the son of 80s R&B artist O’Bryan (The Gigolo, Lovelite).
“Each chapter has helped me reach the next level of my emotional and artistic development. I would take the qualities and experiences I loved about a certain place or time with me, leave others behind that didn’t fit, and start over as a newer, better version of myself, finding my own lane among those influences.”
The future is bright for Brandyn. Check out his new video up top, preorder the EP here and let us know what you think below.
