UK duo Aquilo share Good Girl music video ahead of their October US dates:

Aquilo are a UK duo made up of two guys – Ben Fletcher and Tom Higham – who will be taking their music from England’s Lake District to the US next month, and today they premiered the official music video for their recent single Good Girl.

The catchy track is an instant audio charm offensive, jammed with snaring hooks, synth explosions and electronic beats whilst not diverting from the pair’s usual focus on pulling out emotive lyrics – and it’s a pace and tone that’s reflected in the visual which was directed by Jack King.

The clip’s narrative follows a girl trying to break free from an imminent rite of passage, and impulsively indulging in a night of escapism before she has to make a decision about her life’s direction.

Aquilo are currently working on their debut album with SOHN and Olafur Arnalds  and it’ll be released next year via Island Records.

Meanwhile, if you’re in San Francisco or LA on 9 or 10 October, you’ll be in with a chance to catch the band playing at Popscene or The Echo. UK fans, worry not as they’re returning for a Halloween night gig in Hackney on 31 October. Full ticket details are on their official website
