When they’re not putting out their own-branded pop masterpieces, RAC have proven themselves as instrumental main players in the remix game, turning out suitably bustling, electro turns for tracks by New Order and newcomer Doe Paoro in as many weeks.
Their latest offering sees them taking the title track from Troye Sivan’s latest EP WILD, and starting off with a few added surface layers of gently blossoming electronics and hushed ratatats that steadily become increasingly textured and amplified as the track progresses. It of course suits the track well, the production elevating in line with the Australian singer’s lovelorn tale.
As well as sharing the latest remix on his VEVO page today, Troye also announced on Twitter that he’ll be premiering the music video for FOOLS this coming Friday (25 September). The clip will be the second in his Blue Neighbourhood visual trilogy, following the premiere of his WILD video earlier this month.
