Jarryd James has released two new songs from his upcoming debut studio album Thirty One.

The Australian singer-songwriter, best known for his hit single Do You Remember and follow up Give Me Somethingsent Regardless and Sure Love to iTunes as separate standalone download bundles this week, coinciding with the preorder launch of his first LP which will receive its official release on 11 September.

A slow-burning serenade that mixes bubbling electronics with hushed percussion and strings, Regardless sees the Brisbane native flexing his impressive, falsetto-powered croon, which is complimented by some gorgeous guest vocals from fellow Aussie talent Julia Stone who he joined on tour in February. Sure Love on the other hand is a lyrically wistful, mid-tempo R&B jam, peppered with gentle snare taps and nudging ad-libs, as the 31 year old Queenslander hazily reminisces and reflects upon a past relationship.

Featuring the production expertise of Joel Little (Lorde, Broods), Malay (Frank Ocean) and Pip Norman, it seems more and more likely that James has up his sleeve one of the most anticipated albums of the year. Check out the full tracklisting for Thirty One at the foot of this post and preorder the album here.
