Janet Jackson’s first single in five years has received its official music video premiere and a remix featuring an additional verse from J. Cole.
The solo version of Janet’s No Sleeep was unveiled at the end of June but it’s this new cut which will feature on the R&B icon’s upcoming eleventh studio album which is rumoured to be called Conversations In A Café.
The clip catches Janet in a sultrily-lit loft apartment, and sees her paying an emotional tribute to her late brother Michael as she subtly dips her fedora hat in homage to one of his many trademark dance moves, and enters a room where childhood images of the siblings are projected on to a wall.
Janet will hit the road later this year for her Unbreakable world tour. Download the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis-produced No Sleeep feat. J. Cole here and watch the video below.
