Lucie Silvas premieres Letters To Ghosts music video:

Lucie Silvas has premiered the official music video for her new single Letters to Ghosts

A departure from the British singer-songwriter’s piano-driven hits of olde, the lead cut from Silvas’ self-titled EP, released to iTunes in February, is a rousing folk-via-country number set against a backdrop of thumping drums and guitars.

Silvas scored four top forty hits from her Breathe In album in 2004 and 2005, with the title track and lead single What You’re Made Of both reaching the top ten, and follow ups Don’t Look Back and The Game Is Won sneaking in to the countdown at #34 and #38. Her second album The Same Side, released in 2006, struggled to match the success of its predecessor although a duet with Marco Borsato called Everytime I Think Of You reached #1 on the Dutch singles chart.

For those fond of reminiscing, here’s the video for the title track from Lucie’s debut album – a UK #6 hit in January 2005.
