Mary J. Blige has premiered the official music video for the lead single from her upcoming album The London Sessions.
The collection sees the American R&B legend reuniting with former collaborators Sam Smith and Disclosure, who previously adapted their own singles Stay With Me and F For You to get the chance to team up with the Grammy Award winning chanteuse.
Right Now was the first from the record to be unveiled back in September and, produced by Disclosure, aka brothers Guy and Howard Sigsworth, its pulsating dancefloor beats provide an electrifying backdrop for Blige’s effortlessly soul-packed vocals. The accompanying video sees her taking a nocturnal tour of the London city sights before taking to the stage to perform in front of a hungry audience.
Scheduled for release on 2 December via Capitol Records, The London Sessions also features a track called Whole Damn Year which was co-produced by Naughty Boy and Emeli Sandé. You can listen to that over here along with the Sam Smith-assisted Therapy.
