Cheryl (Fernandez-Versini) will release her new single I Don’t Care in the UK on 9 November.
Written by Cheryl with Bonnie McKee, Jocke Åhlund and John Newman, the track received its first play on Capital FM earlier today on and serves as the second single from the former Girls Aloud singer’s upcoming fourth solo album Only Human which will follow later in the year.
The record’s lead cut Crazy Stupid Love gave her a fourth UK solo chart topper to add to her tally earlier this year, and featured guest vocals from British rapper Tinie Tempah. I Don’t Care may lack the cool credentials of its predecessor, but its straightforward pop approach make it a refreshingly inoffensive offering that at times even comes close to capturing the zinging electropop formula that Girls Aloud built a career upon.
