Cher unveils video for 7th Heaven remix of the Jake Shears-featuring ‘Take It Like A Man’. Cue rippling abs, bulges, twerking:

Cher has premiered the 7th Heaven remix of the latest single to be lifted from her Top 5 album Closer To The Truth.

Featuring backing vocals from Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, Take It Like A Man is an uptempo dance pop number that arrives with a video that follows a bevy of buff gay guys suggestively thrusting their scantily-clad bodies on the beach, writhing over hosed-down car bonnets and twerking down the gym.

Cher herself does not appear in the clip which was uploaded to her official YouTube account yesterday but, when talking about the song in a brilliant interview with Shears, she said:

“Take It Like a Man” is a great balls-to-the-wall dance. There’s no disguising it, it is what it is, and I can only wait till the boys hear it. I can’t wait.

A six track remix bundle was released to iTunes on 8 November and it serves as the follow up to earlier album cuts Woman’s World and I Hope You Find It, the latter of which reached #25 on the UK singles chart earlier this year becoming her first UK Top 40 hit since 2001.
