Get yourselves ready because the new single from French producer Monsieur Adi is surely going to be one of the next big club tracks of the year and should certainly keep those dancefloors busy as the end of the year starts to close in .

What’s Going On sees the former Parisian fashion student grabbing the bull by the horns and stealing that title credit after months of focus providing official remixes for artists such as Beyoncé, Lana Del Ray, Bastille, Ellie Goulding and the like (it’s a tough life..) And this evening he debuted his new song’s official music video.

The track also boasts guest vocals from 18 year old Aminata Kabba – AKA A*M*E – who is best known for co-writing and providing vocals on Duke Dumont’s big 2013 chart topper Need U (100%).

A*M*E’s soulful, evocative delivery of the interpolated chorus hook from Soul II Soul’s 1989 dancefloor classic Back To life (However Do You Want Me) is utterly super in its own right but, when it’s then set against the enthralling backdrop provided by the classically trained producer’s melange of electronic synths and orchestral production wizardry, the result is a revitalising club number that feels fresh, thrilling and incredibly energising and rather beautiful on the ears, to boot.

What’s Going On is scheduled to be released on 17 November. In the meantime, check out Monsieur Adi’s latest Mixtape Édition No. 4 which he made available to download for free just last week and includes a smashing new remix of Tegan and Sara’s I Was A Fool or head to iTunes where you can get your mitts on his debut EP Fire, Fire, Fire.
